From the early days of the pandemic, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been linked to multiple different types of skin involvement. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to report on a case of familial clustering of a maculopapular COVID-19 rash. Eight persons presented COVID-19 symptoms, six were confirmed via SAR-CoV-2 chemoluminescent immunoassays, and the four related by blood presented skin manifestations. Although, it has not been fully established if the SARS-CoV-2 can in fact cause viral exanthems, our observations regarding the familial clustering and the temporal evolution seen in this family seem to present strong evidence of a viral exanthema related to SARS-CoV-2 infection.Exploring new battery technologies will promote the advance of energy storage systems. Designing a symmetrical-structured rechargeable battery with the same electrode materials is a meaningful exploration for battery technology. Here, a solution-processed all-V2 O5 rechargeable battery with V2 O5 as both anode and cathode is presented, in which the anionic/cationic redox reactions are decoupled by precisely clamping its working potential windows. The battery shows good electrochemical performance with high capacity of 151 mAh g-1 at 0.10 C, good rate performance with 70% capacity retention when the current increases from 0.10 to 5 C, and promising cycling stability over 83% capacity retention after 900 cycles at 1 C. Moreover, the battery is highly profitable for simplified fabrication and scalable production, which benefits from its symmetrical configuration as well as the solution-processed strategy. This work offers a new paradigm to construct advanced symmetrical energy storage devices.Raynaud's phenomenon is a vasospastic disorder clinically characterized by cold or stress-induced discoloration of the skin, pain and ulcers of the fingers or toes. Although this phenomenon might be self-limiting, there is a subgroup of patients requiring a therapeutic approach. The majority of patients do well on conservative measures; however, there is also a subgroup requiring systemic treatment. For patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), standard-care is rituximab administered with CHOP or CHOP-like chemotherapy (R-CHOP). However, the effectiveness and safety of R-CHOP among DLBCL patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is less clear, as HIV+ patients were omitted from most clinical trials and population-level data from unselected patients are limited. R-CHOP was funded for HIV-associated DLBCL patients with CD4 >50/mm
in Ontario in February 2015.
Patients with a new diagnosis of DLBCL were identified from the Ontario Cancer Registry between April 2010 and March 2018. HIV diagnosis and chemotherapy regimen were ascertained using administrative databases at Ontario Health. The effect of rituximab and HIV on overall survival was assessed in the HIV+ subgroup (R-CHOP vs CHOP) and in the R-CHOP subgroup (HIV+ vs HIV-).
Among HIV+ patients, receipt of R-CHOP was associated with a fivefold improvement in overall survival (hazard ratio [HR] 0.29 (0.13-0.66) compared with CHOP), after adjustment. Among patients who received R-CHOP (n=6106), older age, male sex, lower neighborhood income, and higher comorbidity were associated with worse overall survival, after adjustment (P<.001 for all), but HIV positivity was not prognostic (HR 1.12 (0.60-2.10)). Within 1-year after diagnosis, HIV+ patients receiving R-CHOP had a similar proportion of patients who visited the emergency department (67% vs 66% P=.43) or admitted to hospital (58% vs 52%, P=.43) and as HIV- patients receiving R-CHOP.
HIV status did not affect prognosis for patients with DLBCL receiving R-CHOP in an unselected general population when rituximab was used according to funding criteria. R-CHOP was safe and effective for DLBCL treatment, regardless of HIV status.

The hanging drop (HD) method of spheroid generation is cost effective, but it is limited by a long time duration for spheroid development and a low rate of formation of larger spheroids. Upon investigation it is found that in the presence of the polymer, robust and compact spheroids are formed in a short duration of 48 h. Larger spheroids (350-600 µm) can be formed by increasing the number of cells. Spheroids are characterized for their 3D shape and different cellular layers, and drug uptake study is done to prove the efficacy of the spheroids generated in drug screening.
The basic paradigm of rehabilitation is based on the brain plasticity, and for promoting it, test-retest reliability (TRR) of brain activation in which certain area of the brain is repeatedly activated is required. In this study, we investigated whether the robotic passive movement has the TRR of brain activation. While active training has been shown to have TRR, but there still have been arguments over the TRR by passive movement.
In order to test TRR, 10 repetitive sessions and various intervals (1day, 3days, 7days, 23days, 15min, and 6hr) were applied to five subjects, which had the same statistical power as applying two sessions to 50 subjects. In each session, three robot speeds (0.25, 0.5, and 0.75Hz) were applied to provide passive movement using the robot. The fNIRS signal (oxy-Hb) generated in the primary sensorimotor area (SM1) was measured on a total of 29 channels. At this time, we used activation maps and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) values to examine the TRR and the effect of robot speeds and intervals on TRR.
