Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
