Straight pipes offer better flow than many popular performance mufflers. This can be helpful if you’re trying to maximize performance and fuel mileage.<br />The 5 Inch Exhaust Systems are for people who like to party (and have annoying neighbors). It’s deep, it’s droney, and it turns heads (for better or worse). These kits sound AWESOME, however, some people find them to be too much (typically it's those people in uniforms) and find the cab drone too excessive. This results in 82% less backpressure, leading to more power, throttle response, and increased fuel economy.<br />Chevy has an updated part so just order 6 of those with this kit and you’re golden (they were in stock at my local Chevy dealer). Because the DPF clogs up, it increases backpressure. Due to this pressure, the fuel flow is hugely disturbed and slowed down.
